Products to Be Exhibited

(1) Safety
With advanced technologies that include a collision safety function¹, overload alert² and auto-pilot function³ for the ladder, this vehicle contributes to safe, prompt rescue and firefighting activities on the frontlines.
(2) Functionality
By virtue of being outfitted with an articulated ladder bearing a rescue height of approximately 32 m, the vehicle is capable of rescue and water discharge over obstacles. Because of its ability to rotate 360 degrees without the outrigger extending out, the vehicle is capable of realizing flexible operation even in complex urban environments such as narrow roads. Moreover, the rescue cage has an allowable load capacity of 540 kg and a wide floor area to accommodate the rescue of large numbers of people.
(3) Operability
The operation unit supports multiple languages and employs universal design, realizing operability that is intuitive and easy to understand. Moreover, the operator's seat is automatically tilted in accordance with the angle of inclination of the ladder, which also mitigates the workload of firefighters during operation.

1: Collision safety function
In addition to the conventional ultrasonic sonar detection collision avoidance function, it also has the ability to detect abnormalities and safely stop automatically when an obstacle unexpectedly contacts the rescue cage or ladder, based on the load and position information of the ladder.
2: Overload alert　　
This function automatically stops the vehicle to prevent it from tipping over when the allowable load capacity of the ladder is exceeded. The detection range has been expanded to cover the entire working radius compared to previous models.
3: Auto-pilot function
In addition to the conventional memory control function (which memorizes ladder operations and allows for reverse playback and playback of the ladder's movements), it also has the ability to automatically memorize ladder operations and easily reverse playback or play back the memorized route with a simple lever operation.

(1) High flow and efficiency
Pump efficiency has improved by approximately 15% over preexisting products. Limited drive power is utilized to the fullest to achieve highly efficient operation. (Maximum flow of 3,300 L/min when power is at 1.0 MPa)
(2) Compact and lightweight
Through the unification of the motor and water pump, volume and weight were reduced over preexisting products by approximately 14% and 19%, respectively, and installability of the unit on the vehicle was further improved. (Dimensions of L1,220xW950×H830 mm; volume of 0.85m3; weight of 325 kg)
